Lenovo unveils A7-50 wideview Android tablet, prices it at Rs 15,499

New Delhi : Leading PC player Lenovo today launched its new A7-50 performance tablet with an in-plane switching (IPS) screen that delivers a wide viewing angle, perfect for sharing content with friends in groups.

Priced at Rs 15,499, Lenovo A7-50 is powered by 1.3 GHz Quad Core Processor and runs on Android 4.2 (can be upgraded to KitKat). The 9.6 mm thin device is equipped with 1GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which is expandable to 32 GB via SD card.

The tablet also features 5MP rear camera, 2MP front camera and a 3450mAh battery. It has full 3G and built in Voice calling capabilities. One can navigate through its built in satellite GPS that also interacts with the user offline. There's also the option of 3G wireless support through a SIM card slot.

“The market is inundated with options, but the A-750 stands out as it is the first complete 7'' tablet that offers double the power and performance, vis-à-vis other devices in the same price bracket. Multitask with this future-ready device that empowers the user to make the most of the tablet experience,” Rohit Midha, director, Tablet Business Unit, Lenovo India said.

The Lenovo A7-50 also comes preloaded with premium apps SHAREit, SECUREit and SYNCit to enhance the user experience.

The multi-touch device weighs 320 grams and is available in midnight blue.
