This grand automotive fair will be held between 7th – 11th of February at Expo Mart located in Greater Noida region. Sources claim that this edition is going to be bigger than the previous one as this time around 30 percent more floor space is being offered for showcasing those special cars in a more appealing way. This is possible due to the fact that the component industry has been kept out of this location and they would be showcasing their products at the old location which happens to be Pragati Maidan.

Maruti Suzuki A-Wind Concept and SX4 S-Cross - Maruti Suzuki will showcase two amazing cars at the Auto Expo. The first one is an improved version of A-Star hatchback that will have refined looks and performance. It is named as A-Wind Concept car and speculation is rife that the company will launch it by 2014 in India. This two-box car from the country’s largest car maker will come powered by a 3 cylinder 996 petrol engine featuring the CVT transmission. The other sensational car to be spotted at the Auto Expo 2014 is likely to be SX4 S-Cross. Codenamed Y9T, this light weight commercial vehicle is anticipated to be launched by 2015 in the Indian auto-market.
Audi A3 - Audi, the well-known German premium car maker in India is all set to unveil the A3 compact premium sedan at the upcoming Indian Auto Expo 2014. This premium compact three-box will be available in both petrol and diesel power-trains. The petrol line up will feature 1.4 litre TFSI or 1.8 Litre TFSI engine while the diesel variants would be available in 1.8 litre and 2.0 litre diesel engines. This sedan sensation will come loaded with varied features like new MMI, Dual zone climate control with air filter, Audi’s driver select system, Intellipark assist and many more.
Datsun Go+ MPV – Nissan’s subsidiary brand, Datsun is all set to unveil its Go+ MPV. The car has already been unveiled in Indonesia and now it is all set to debut on the Indian subcontinent. This MPV will come powered by Nissan’s 1.2 litre petrol engine that produces peak power of 68 PS and peak torque of 104 Nm. The Go+ MUV will come loaded with lots of exiting features and will challenge existing MPVs like Maruti Ertiga and Mahindra Quanto.
Honda Mobilio MPV - Honda is also looking forward to enter in the compact utility car segment and it has decided to unveil the Brio based MPV, the Mobilio at the Auto Expo 2014 - after having scored a hit with the new Honda City recently. Honda Mobilio will be boosted by a 4-pot i-VTEC 1.5 litre petrol mill. However, it is also rumored that the company may plan to power it with Amaze’s 1.2 Litre petrol mill. As far as the prices are concerned this MPV may be introduced in the Indian market somewhere in the range of Rs. 8 – 12 lakh.
Jeep Cherokee and Wrangler - Fiat’s subsidiary unit, Jeep is all set to serve some special vehicles to Indian enthusiasts. The auto-giant will introduce two of its ultimate SUVs Jeep Cherokee and Jeep Wrangler at the 2014 Auto Expo. Jeep Cherokee is a premium crossover that will compete with cars like Audi Q5 and BMW X3. It is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs 55 lakh when is out in the market for sale. On the other hand, Jeep Wrangler is purely a premium off-road animal that has calibre to run efficiently on country’s most typical conditions. We expect it to be priced somewhere around Rs. 20 lakh.
Jaguar F-Type and CX-17 - Targeting the Indian business tycoons, Jaguar the well-known British luxury car maker has scheduled to unleash the Jaguar F-Type Coupe at the upcoming Indian Auto Expo 2014. This ultimate coupe will host a 5.0 Litre V8 petrol engine and is meant for those who look for sporty fun by paying a big price for the pleasure – a sum of more than Rs 1.5 crore. Along with the F-type coupe, Jaguar has also planned to unveil its first ever sports crossover concept car, the C-X17 at the Indian Auto Expo. This ultimate machine globally caught attention of the auto freaks at the Frankfurt Auto Show.
New Honda Jazz – Honda is also planning to unveil the all new Jazz at the upcoming Indian Auto Expo. This new Jazz will be available in 1.2 litre petrol and new 1.5 litre ‘Earth Dreams’ diesel engine options. Considering the long list of rivals, Honda has kept the new Jazz more practical and stylish in all aspects. Besides this, the new Jazz will have capacious cabins soothing interiors to impress the buyers.
