When queried if her mother has seen her sporting the bikini for the film, Soha replies, “No. She does not even know about it. She will not object as she wore one almost 50 years ago. However, when I did a Maxim cover, she thought it was tastefully done. I believe that one has to be comfortable in whatever you are wearing.”
The actress says that though she plays a police officer in Mr Joe B Carvalo, she has worn the most ridiculous outfits in the film. “I dressed like an apsara and have worn a can can outfit, a cabaret costume, a dressing gown, a police uniform and then the bikini. I am not wearing normal clothes in any shot in the film.”
In her next release, War Chhod Do Na Yaar, Soha plays a war correspondent. She reveals that Dalip Tahil plays four roles in the film, that of the Defence Ministers of China, Pakistan, America and India. “They are all one person and the idea is to tell you that it is not a personality, but that he represents something. So what are we fighting against?,” she explains adding that she will also be seen in Chaarfutiya Chhokare, a social thriller directed by Manish Harishankar, which is complete, barring a few scenes. “The film does not have a hero, so it needs a lot more hard work to be put out there,” Soha states.
