Yuvraj Singh and Zaheer Khan made their international debut against Kenya on 3rd October 2000, in the same match at the Gymkhana Club Ground. Since then, both players have had glorious careers and shared a good bond as well. They gave another example of their friendship on Tuesday by exchanging some hilarious tweets on the micro-blogging website. When Sri Lanka was playing against Pakistan in the last match of the group round in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy and needed 62 runs from 90 balls with just 3 wickets left, Zaheer Khan posted on Twitter that it will be an interesting contest from here on. “62 needed of 90 with 3 wkts in hand , very interesting to see how it finishes from here … #CT17 #SLvPAK,” Zaheer wrote

To this, Yuvraj replied by asking what happened? why are you posting too many tweets these days. Even though Yuvraj didn’t mention anything clearly, he was hinting at Zaheer’s recent engagement to actress Sagrika Ghatke. “@ImZaheer Oh tu bade tweet kar reha aj kal ki gal ?” Yuvraj Singh wrote. Zaheer who is not known for holding himself back gave a stunning reply to his former teammate leaving Twitterati in splits. “I am tweeting like you @YUVSTRONG12 but why are you fielding like me ??? Hahaha,” Zaheer wrote.

Here is the full conversation:

Interestingly, Yuvraj who was once one of India’s best fielders is not in his best shape these days. In India’s last group match against South Africa, he was seen fielding at third-man and was also a bit slow to respond. However, his experience and skill are unmatched. After scoring a match-winning half-century against Pakistan in India’s opening game, Yuvraj also scored a quick-fire 23 against South Africa and finished the game for his side. The semi-final against Bangladesh will be his 300th ODI and Yuvi will try everything possible to make it special.
