British sprinter Mo Farah cruised to victory in the 5000 metres at the World Championships in Beijing and consequently became the first man to claim a triple-double on Saturday.

The double Olympic champion, who bagged the gold medal in the 10,000m last week, crossed the finishing line for a time of 13min 50.38sec, Sport24 reported.

Meanwhile, Kenya’s Caleb Ndiku finished second, ahead of bronze winner Ethiopian Hagos Gebrhiwet.
