Manchester United have finalised the signings of Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin from Bayern Munich and Southampton on Monday.
While German midfielder Schweinsteiger has signed a three-year deal for a reported 14.4million pounds, Schneiderlin of France has been roped in for a staggering 25million pounds.
Although Schneiderlin has signed a four-year contract, he has the option to extend it by a further year.
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old German midfielder said that United is the only club that he would have left Munich for, adding that he is looking forward to working with manager Louis van Gaal again, the BBC reported.
Schweinsteiger had made 536 appearances for Bayern since his debut in 2002 and helped the German club lift eight Bundesliga titles and seven domestic cups.
He also played a pivotal role in his country’s 2014 World Cup win.
