Play on day four has been called off due to heavy rain after India reduced the West Indies to 48 for four before Lunch here at Kingston, Jamaica.
India had taken a first-innings lead of 304 runs before declaring at 500/9 on third day. Ajinkya Rahane played a clinical knock of 108 runs, scoring his third century in last four innings.
Before this, the visitors reached 358/5 after opener Lokesh Rahul smashed an impressive 158 runs in on Day 2. India were able to take a lead of 162 runs over the Caribbeans with Ajnkya Rahane and wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha still rotating strike at end of day’s play.
