After a massive victory in the first one day international (ODI), Captain MS Dhoni and deputy Virat Kohli is looking to establish a 2-match win gap against the visitors to ensure Team India has a cushion to fall back on if fortunes change in the series. For India, the batsmen and the bowlers are in prime form and even the wicketkeeper has emerged as a match-winning force. The first match was a huge humiliation for New Zealand and they would be looking to fight back effectively this time. The weather is good and the pitch is likely to be a batting paradise. The Kiwis are known to be better at the shorter versions of the game and this is the match when they will have to prove that they deserved to win. They will be desperate for a win as they have not even drawn a match, let alone win one, during the entire trip that included 3 Tests and now they are facing an uphill task in the ODIs. The blame for the Kiwi problems can be put squarely on the batsmen. They have not been able to handle the Indian pacers and when the spinners come on, especially R Ashwin, they just fold up. Will the same happen this time? The Indian fans will be hoping so! Check out the India vs New Zealand live cricket score here:
