Rabada first caught everybody’s eyes with his performance in 2014 Under-19 World Cup semi-final. The 21-year-old cricketer took 6 wickets for 25 against Australia and needless to say, won South Africa the title. It was not long before that he signed his franchise contract with Lions and by the end of the year, he had been included in the national One Day International and Test squads. He continued to mesmerise people with his performance the next year and proved himself in the longer format as well. He is equally good in the death overs as he is with the new ball. He has really matured as a cricketer in last 12 months forcing the likes of Morne Morkel and Dale Steyn to sit out of the South African side. Don’t be surprised if Rabada pulls off an exciting last over finish for his side in this year’s IPL.
