IPL Auction 2017: In a historic moment in the ongoing IPL Player Auction 2017, Mohammad Nabi became the first player from his country to be picked by a franchise. He picked by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs. 30 lakhs. Moments later his teammate, Rashid Khan was signed by Mumbai Indians for a whopping amount of Rs. 4 Crores.
Mohammad Nabi was very happy with the news and took on to Twitter to congratulate his teammate Rashid Khan. he posted a tweet saying, “FLOODED WITH HAPPINESS TODAY NOT ONLY FOR MYSELF BUT RATHER FOR OUR JUNIOR ROCKING PLAYER #RASHIDARMAN BEING SELECTED FOR @SunRisers. @IPL.”
Rashid Khan who has represented Afghanistan in 21 T20Is has a very impressive record. He has picked up 31 wickets so far at an average of 16.06 and an economy rate of 6.14. In all T20 he has picked up 47 wickets at an average of 14.80.

Today, 352 cricketers from all across the world are going under Richard Madley’s hammer at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Bengaluru. There was a huge bidding war for England all-rounder Ben Stokes. The other two star signings were of Kagiso Rabada and Trent Boult who were signed for Rs. 5 Crores each.
