IPL 2017: The Indian Premier League fever has taken over the country in last one month or so. As we enter the final week of action, Twitterati have picked their playing XI and all the top Indian players have made the cut. While Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina and Ben Stokes were awarded because of their outstanding performances, fans also picked Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane despite their substandard performance this season. The Indian captain who was the star performer last season with over 900 runs, managed to score just 308 runs from 10 matches this time as his team finished at the bottom of the table. On the other hand, Rahane had an even more disastrous tournament so far, scoring just 282 runs from 14 matches.

Here’s Twitter XI for IPL 10:

1. Virat Kohli
2. Gautam Gambhir
3. Rohit Sharma
4. Ajinkya Rahane
5. Suresh Raina
6. Yuvraj Singh
7. Ben Stokes
8. MS Dhoni
9. Harbhajan Singh
10. Umesh Yadav
11. Zaheer Khan

Another interesting inclusion is of veteran Zaheer Khan who impressed everyone with his brilliant leadership skills this season even as Delhi Daredevils failed to make the playoffs. Meanwhile, Ben Stokes is the only overseas player to make the list. Reacting to the great response IPL has got on Twitter, Aneesh Madani, Head of Sports Partnerships, India and South East Asia, Twitter said he is looking forward to the playoffs now.
