A day before taking on rivals Bangladesh in the semi final round, middle-order backbone Yuvraj spoke to ANI and said that he feels blessed that he has got a chance to play for India again. “I am blessed to play for India again. As long as I am performing, I am doing well I would like to play…hopefully a few more years,” he said.

“When I started playing for India, I was just happy playing one game for India. Huge honor, proud of myself,” the left-handed batsman added further. When asked about his best quality, Yuvraj said, “Biggest quality in me would be to never give up, keep pushing no matter what obstacles come in your life.”

Earlier during an interaction at a press event, a reporter asked Yuvraj if he has any regrets on the occasion of his 300th ODI appearance to which his reply was as straight as his shots. He said, “Sir zindagi bach gayi humari, woh sabse badi baat hain (I am alive and that is the biggest thing for me).”

Yuvraj’s reaction to the question also hinted that apart from the ongoing ICC tournament, 2019 World Cup too is on his mind. “I don’t want to talk about my regrets when I am in a good zone. I am playing well and would continue for a few more years. As long as I am performing, I would like to play,” he added.
