ICC Champions Trophy 2017: The Indian cricket team has already reached England to defend their ICC Champions Trophy title and had their first practice session on Friday evening. However, Virat Kohli and team are very relaxed at the moment and are not allowing any pressure to build. Opener Shikhar Dhawan who is making a comeback to the team, shared a video with Virat Kohli on Facebook in which the two players can be seen having a great time inside the team bus. “Thats how we pump before d practise session , on our way to ground. @virat.kohli @rashwin99 .????????????????????????????????????????????.” wrote Dhawan as the caption.

India will start its campaign against arch-rival Pakistan in Edgbaston on June 4. While talking to media on Friday Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmad looked hopeful of his team’s chances. “We have a better record against India in the Champions Trophy, not in other competitions. We are looking to maintain that against them and it’s very exciting,” he said at his pre-tournament press conference.

“We have nothing to lose, we just want to play our natural game. We have just played a very good series in the West Indies, where the players performed very well. “We are very hopeful of playing well in this tournament and we want to win it. It is a very exciting time for us, there have been a lot of practice sessions at Edgbaston and we are ready to play,” he said. India will play New Zealand in its first warm-up match which will allow the players to get some match practice.
