The second part is the Trend Report which evaluates key trends on increase in outbound traffic from cricketing nations – India, Pakistan and United Kingdom; price fluctuation through the quarter-final, semi-final and final matches for hotels; comparison of hotels vs vacation rentals and lastly, Indian restaurants around all five match venues hosting . All the figures are based on TripAdvisor site data.

It is every fan’s dream to watch the World Cup live. Travellers with families (2 adults and 2 kids) looking at ‘two rooms’ also have an option to choose a vacation rental over staying in a hotel since in some cases it turns out to be a wiser option. For e.g. in Melbourne, a two room overnight stay in a 3 star hotel (for March 19 match) will approx. be 20% more expensive than a night spent in a two room vacation rental. This is considering the price per hotel room is Rs 14,912 and vacation rental is Rs 12,452.
