Champions Trophy 2017: Captain of the Indian Cricket team Virat Kohli tweeted a picture of himself with his teammates in England in which he was out for dinner with his fellow teammates just ahead of the start of the tournament. And clearly, the boys were having a great time. The caption with the picture read, ‘One from last night, a meal with the boys after a good day at work!’ The Indian cricket team is in England for the 2017 Champions Trophy, as the defending champions and aside from other teams, they will be playing Pakistan too, according to The Indian Express.

The Indian Cricket team’s batting line-up comprises of Rohit Sharma, who will open for the team, he is likely to have Shikhar Dhawan on the opposite end. Skipper Virat Kohli, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh will bring up the middle batting order. Dinesh Karthik may replace Yuvraj Singh as the latter is recovering from a bout of illness, according to the Indian Express.

The Indian cricket team also boasts of an impressive bowling order. The bowlers in India’s Champion Trophy are spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, and pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, and Umesh Yadav, as per an Indian Express report.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar seems ready to lead the bowling attack for the Indian side. Kumar can bowl well in the death overs and can swing a new ball. Bumrah’s ability to deliver yorkers can come in handy if in case the team has to defend a low score. Yadav’s ability to swing the ball and bowl at a brisk pace will come in use in England. The pacer also holds the ability to rattle batsmen with bouncers.
