Brett Lee is amongst the few Australian players of the invincible era who are loved by the Indian fans. While most Aussie players who played during the late 90s and early 2000 were known for their aggressive on-field nature and sledging, Lee always allowed the ball to do the talking. One of the fastest bowlers to play the sport was a loved figure even in the Indian Premier League. Apart from this, Lee also recorded a song with Asha Bhosle and later starred in an Indo-Australian film. The pacer is once again in India and this time decided to turn desi with his wrestling skills.
Lee made the announcement about this through a tweet that he posted on his Twitter account. “Tune in to @StarSportsIndia today from 3pm IST to see my first ever attempt at the Ancient Indian Wrestling ????♀️ called Dangal #NammaKPL,” wrote the legend. Later in the day, Star Sports posted a video on its Twitter handle in which Lee can be seen showing his wrestling skills. “@BrettLee_58’s kicked up a storm on the field & is ready to do the same as he wrestles, desi-style! Watch #NammaKPL on Star Sports!” read the caption of the video.
