The Fe Round Table Conference - Aviation, November 2007
India's domestic air travel has grown to an annual passenger load of 25.5 million. As per current estimates this figure is likely to go up to 60 million by 2010. This exponential growth will undoubtedly present airline operators with unprecedented opportunities to scale up operations and revenues. However in order for them to successfully leverage this opportunity, several key issues will need to be examined and redressed. Infrastructure, cost escalations, restrictions on access to routes and evolution of the business models prevalent in the aviation industry are all areas that need to be discussed extensively on a priority basis. The FE Round Table Conference on Aviation aspires to do just that! The Round Table Conference shall bring together senior delegates from the aviation industry and the government to engage in a free flowing exchange of ideas in order to identify possible solutions to the current bottlenecks being faced by this industry. It shall also attempt to map out the future course of action in order to maximize the industry's rate of growth going forward.
