Sony Xperia Z2 (Wearable combo): On the day HTC One M8 started selling in India, Sony upped the ante by launching its new premium flagship, the Xperia Z2, at the same price of Rs 49,990. However, Sony also added its new SmartBand to the deal in a bid to make wearable devices more popular in India. The Sony Xperia Z2 will stand out for its dust-proof and water-proof body, 20.7MP camera with 4K video recording capabilities and the access it gives to loads of Sony content. Significantly, Sony is trying to make wearable devices more popular in India with bundling its SmartBand with the Sony Xperia Z2 and pricing it at Rs 5,990 when bought without the phone. Price: Rs 49,900

Samsung HU9000 (Curved screen): Samsung is going curved. Months after LG announced its first curved television in India, Samsung has now gone ahead and launched an entire range of curved screens in India. While LG’s curved TV is 4K (or UHD as Samsung likes to call it), its Korean rival has upped the ante a bit by launching cheaper LED screen too in the new form factor. So Samsung will be able to offer curved screen between Rs  1,62,900 for the 48-inch model and Rs 4,49,900 for the 65-inch UHD model. There is also a 105-inch UHD model to be available later this year. According to Samsung, its new range has a 4,200mm curve radius that offers an immersive viewing experience. Price: Rs 4,49,900

The full-touch phone comes with Android 4.2-based ColorOS and a unique feature called Hotknot that enables secure file sharing. The phone has Nano surface coating and features a 4.0-inch WVGA HD screen. The device has a 3-MP rear camera, 1.3GHz dual-core processor and 4GB user memory with storage expandable to 32GB storage and a 1700mAh battery.Price: Rs 8,990
