Balakrishnan had spent 21 years at Infosys before quitting the company in December 2013. He had joined AAP the day after leaving Infosys, saying he was attracted by the party’s mission to change the way politics was run in the country. Having entered the electoral fray, he is now up against the Bharatiya Janata Party’s sitting MP from Bangalore Central, PC Mohan, and youth Congress leader Rizwan Arshad. (PTI)
