  • The making of this movie took almost three years and has the involvement of the Gawli family, according to Indian Express. • “Daddy isn’t a propaganda film, we’re not glorifying anything or anybody. It’s going to be a film where the audience will have to form an opinion of him. We’re looking at five decades of Gawli’s life from several points of view — his family, his gang, his rivals, the police — so it’s a balanced film, ” Express quoted Arjun Rampal. (Bollywood Hungama)

  • Daddy is a political crime drama and this movie will mark Arjun’s first appearance in a biopic. Daddy had an average occupancy of 20% on the opening day which hit the screens along with Sunny and Bobby Deol starrer Poster Boys. (Bollywood Hungama)
