Amazing coincidence! 5 places around the world with names identical to Indian cities

    Apart from taking immense pride in the diversity of our traditions and cultures, we Indians are also proud of the geographical diversity of our country. There are near about four thousand cities in India, each of which possesses a separate identity and unique name. However, not everything is unique, it turns out. According to an article published by ScoopWhoop, a list of Indian cities share a rather uncanny similarity with cities around the world - they have the exact same names! The following cities share an identical name with cities around the globe, check them out:

  • Apart from sharing the same name with the National Capital of India, Delhi is both a former township and an unincorporated community located on the Ontario highway. It is pronounced as "Del-High" but, surprisingly, it shares the same name and pronunciation with Delhi in India.
