JEE Advanced 2018, UPSC IES 2018 to SSC CHSL result 2016; In jobs and education, these grabbed students’ attention

  • JEE Advanced 2018: The official website of Joint Engineering Examination (JEE) Advanced 2018 at jeeadv.ac.in has now been launched and is now functional. The Indian Institute of Technology – Kanpur (IIT-K) is all set to conduct the examination next year on May 20. According to the information mentioned on the website, ‘The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2018 will be conducted by the seven zonal IITs. The performance of a candidate in this examination will form the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs. The decisions of the JAB 2018 will be final in all matters related to JEE (Advanced) 2018 and admission to IITs.’ It further said that the examination will be held on May 20, 2018 in two sessions. The entire JEE (Advanced) 2018 Examination will be conducted in fully computer-based test mode.

  • UPSC IES 2018: The official notification for Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2018 has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on upsc.gov.in. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the exam now by visiting the official website. According to the circular released on the official website, “the candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.” Once applied, candidates need to keep in mind that the mere issue of e‐Admission Certificate to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission.

  • SSC CHSL result 2016: The Staff Selection Commission will declare the results of Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Tier II Examination 2016 on October 18 at ssc.nic.in. The commission has preponed the examination result date to almost a week, as earlier it said that the results will be announced on October 26, according to Indian Express report. Candidates who appeared in the exam can check their results after the links are activated.

  • IGNOU December 2017 term end examination: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) on its official website released a notification regarding the December term end examinations 2017. The last date for accepting the examination form for December 2017 Term End Examination has been extended till 31st October 2017. The candidates can fill the application form without late fees before October 31 on the official website – ignou.ac.in. The fee for the exam is Rs 120 per course. After missing the deadline, the candidates can submit their exam form by November 15, 2017, with a late fee of Rs 1,000.

  • UPTET admit card 2017: The basic education department of the Uttar Pradesh government will release the admit cards for the state Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2017 this week at upbasiceduboard.gov.in. Candidates who have applied can refer to the official website for downloading the admit card, as per The Indian Express report. The education department will conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test on October 15. The examination will be conducted in two parts– one for teachers of classes 1 to 5 another for those of class 6 and 8. UPTET 2017 examination will be comprised of objective type questions. The application process for the exam had begun on August 25 and it closed on September 8, 2017. Contractual teachers employed in Uttar Pradesh can also appear for the UPTET to claim eligibility for the post of teachers in primary schools. The result of the exam will be released within two months after the examination are held.
