    Bellandur Lake in Bengaluru is spilling toxic foam again, overwhelming the surroundings to the extent that entire cars have disappeared under it. Thanks to the heavy showers in the city, the water level has increased and the foam has started floating way above the bridge on it. The stench of the froth is so strong that it has left residents gasping for breath. This is a problem that has been plaguing the city for a long time now and no solution looks to be in sight.     The National Green Tribunal (NGT) was forced to take the matter up and expressed their displeasure over the steps which has been taken by the authorities to revive the Bellandur lake. The tribunal also asked the state government to clean the lake in a month's time. (Twitter)
