    Assam has been hit by one of the worst floods of this season and the situation is getting worse by the day. At a point of time when these flood victims are suffering, their love for the nation, and patriotic fervour does not seem to be taking a backseat. Pictures have emerged from across Assam showing people hoisting the national flag and celebrating India's 71st anniversary with the same fervor as anyone else in the country, even though they are standing knee deep in water.
