    In horrific incident, Emirates Airlines flight from India crash lands at Dubai airport.   • The Emirates plane was earlier forced into an emergency landing, and had 282 passengers and 18 crew, out of which there were 226 Indians. The flight EK521 reached Dubai from Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram). The plane had taken off from Thiruvananthapuram at 10.19 a.m. and was to land at 12.50 p.m. at Dubai, the airline said.     There were no reported casualties yet and airport and company representatives could not be immediately reached for comment. “Emirates can confirm that an incident happened at Dubai International Airport at about 12.45 p.m,” the airline tweeted. It said all passengers were evacuated and there were no reported injuries. A passenger told Asianet TV that the Emirates flight came down suddenly and then bounced upwards while landing. "In no time the cabin was filled with smoke. There was no announcement. The emergency door was forced open." After escaping through the emergency exits, the passengers had to sprint as fast as possible from the plane. Some passengers suffered minor injuries on their hands and legs.     Another twitter account said one of the engines appeared to have fallen after the violent landing. The aircraft involved in the accident is a Boeing 777-300 that was delivered in March 2003. On July 26 another Emirates flight from Dubai to Male with 309 passengers on board had made an emergency landing at Mumbai airport. Flight EK 652 made the emergency landing after smoke was detected in cockpit. However, that flight with 309 passengers and crew had landed safely at the Mumbai airport, officials had said. (ANI)
