Starting today, micro-blogging platform, Twitter has introduced a new timeline feature that helps users catch up on the most important Tweets from the people they follow. With so much happening on Twitter every day it isn’t always easy to catch every Tweet that matters and this new timeline feature will 'surface' relevant Tweets based on information like who they follow and what they engage with so the content that is interesting to is easy to discover. Here’s how it works. Users can flip on the feature in settings; then when they open Twitter after being away for a while, the Tweets they are most likely to care about will appear at the top of the timeline still recent and in reverse chronological order. The rest of the Tweets will be displayed right underneath, also in reverse chronological order. At any point, pull-to-refresh feature will let them see all new Tweets at the top. (Reuters)

People who use this new feature tend to Retweet and Tweet more, creating more live commentary and conversations, which is great for everyone. More information is provided in the timeline section of settings where users can choose ‘Show me the best Tweets first’ feature. (Reuters)
