Huawei Honor 5X, Holly 2 Plus priced at Rs 12,999 and Rs 8,499 launched in India; to be made available on Flipkart, Amazon

  • Chinese information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider Huawei launched Honor 5X and Holly 2 Plus smartphones in the Indian market on Thursday. While Honor 5X priced at Rs 12,999 will be available in three colours, gold, silver and grey, Holly 2 Plus priced at Rs 8,499 will be available in black, white and gold colours.

  • The Honor 5X and Holly 2 Plus smartphones are available for pre-orders on e-commerce websites Flipkart and Amazon. The sale of Honor 5X will commence from February 1 and Holly 2 Plus from February 15. (Source: Flipkart)

  • Honor 5X is a dual-sim smartphone powered by a rim-free touch fingerprint sensor and has a metallic body with nano-SIM, micro-SIM, and microSD card slots. It has a 5.5-inch high-definition display and is powered by T6735 4x1.3GHz processor.

  • Honor 5X is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras and is backed by a powerful 3,000mAh battery. It runs on Android 5.1+ HUAWEI EMUI 3.1 Lite. The phone boasts of 2G RAM and 16GB in-built memory.

  • Holly 2 Plus smartphone offers a 4,000 mAH battery with reverse charging feature to share your power with your friend via Micro-B USB to Micro-B USB cable.

  • Holly 2 Plus also has 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras and offers 16GB internal storage and a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.

  • Holly 2 Plus runs on a 64-bit high-speed processor and 2G RAM offer consumers more power.

  • "With these continued series of launches, we would like to reiterate our commitment to the Indian market and would continue to strive to offer world class consumer experience which address local needs of our consumers," George Zhao, president (Honor), said in a statement.
