Aadhaar card saved Rs 650 crore for the Narendra Modi govt

    According to the World Bank, Aadhaar card has saved an estimated Rs 650 crore ($1 bn) annually for the Narendra Modi led NDA government by curbing corruption. The Aadhaar card also promoted inclusion, efficiency and innovation, World Bank Chief Economist Kaushik Basu said during the release of a new report 'World Development Report 2016: Digital Dividends', authored by Co-Directors, Deepak Mishra and Uwe Deichmann.(Image Source: Reuters)

    billion equals thousand millions or nine zerosafter one crore has seven zeros after one so one billion do;;ars is 100 crore doillars if 65 ruppees buy one dollar then 65 hundred crore ruppees equakl one billion dollar excuse me how headline says 6.5 hundred crores equal one billion dollar math error
