  • Indian rupee through the day against US dollar. The rupee today ended at 61.92, down a mere paisa, against the greenback in thin trade. Graph: PTI

  • Indian rupee vs US dollar. At the Interbank Foreign Exchange (Forex) market here the rupee resumed lower at 61.93 as against yesterday's closing level of 61.91 per dollar. It dropped further to 61.95 per dollar on initial dollar demand from banks and importers on the back of strength in US currency in the overseas market. Graph: PTI

The benchmark Sensex today snapped a three-day losing trend as it rebounded by 120 points and Nifty firmed up by about 27 points after touching new life-high on strong buying mainly in FMCG and banking shares, amid strong overseas cues on talk of global monetary stimulus.       I really feel sad when the "Great Allrounder" Yuvaraj is not present in the Indian Team.Hope he again "Gate Crashes" into the Team India by scoring SiXES again!
