Intrusion a disaster -- Nur Khan
Former top Pakistan army brass including Air Marshal Nur Khan have described Kargil intrusion as a "military disaster" saying that the issue had once again proved there could be no military solution to the Kashmir issue.

Clinton speaks to Vajpayee
United States President Bill Clinton yesterday spoke to Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee and expressed his understanding of India's position on Kargil while being hopeful of visiting New Delhi in the "near future."
