IT sources said that that the nationwide raids started in the morning, with more than 100 IT staffers involved in the exercise. Sources also said that the raids followed a tip-off that the company was evading taxes to the tune of crores. Though the raids were still on, officials said that a number of incriminating documents had been seized from the company premises.

Officials in the Vadodara commissionerate said that about 20 officers swooped down on the Productivity Road office and were checking documents there. The raid was on till the last reports came in.
