Neeraj Chaturvedi, BJP MLA from Ganpur, who is leading the group of dissident legislators, today claimed they have already sought an appointment with Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee and Home Minister L K Advani on April four.

"We shall be meeting party president Kushabhau Thakre also during the course of visit and apprise him of the style of functioning of Kalyan Singh while seeking his removal," Chaturvedi told PTI on phone from Kanpur.

Chaturvedi claimed that some 30 party legislators were with him who had already sent a fax to party leaders yesterday apprising them of the situation arising out of the resignation of Devendra Singh Bhole, Minister of State for Family Welfare.

"A great injustice has been meted out to Bhole andwe are of the view that the legislators are unable to function under the leadership of Kalyan Singh," Chaturvedi said.

Senior BJP leaders away to Goa to participate in the national executive meet were not available for comments.

Devendra Singh Bhole had submitted his resignation on the floor of Vidhan Sabha on March 31 accusing the Chief Minister of being "corrupt and partisan".

Kalyan Singh denied Bhole's charges and said his integrity could not be doubted. "I am in public life since 1962 and it is like an open book. You may read any page and you will find it without any blot," he said.
