This morning the police laid a trap near Fishermen's Colony. After waiting for over an hour and half, the police team spotted Badshah walking towards them. The senior police inspector of the Mahim police station, Shamarao Jedhe, who was heading the operation asked Guddu to surrender. Instead, Guddu opened fire at the police. The police then retaliatedinjuring Guddu seriously. He was rushed to the Bhabha Hospital at Bandra where he was declared dead before admission.
