Have a heart .. save it!

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
CHANDIGARH, MARCH 7: ``Positive life-style is a must to save the heart,'' was the golden advice offered by Dr. Anil Grover, a cardiologist, at a seminar organised at the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishhwa Vidyalaya in Rajyoga Bhawan of Sector 33 today.

He said that men were prone to heart disease after the age of 50, but females were equally exposed to the risk after crossing 50. He informed that hypertension also led to heart disease and attributed psychological factors such as attitude, tolerance, aggressiveness as the causative elements for hypertension.

He described those who were always in a hurry and talked impatiently to others as the `A' personality people. These people tended to expect perfection from others but themselves bore negative thoughts. Dr. H. C. Nagpal, Civil Surgeon, Panchkula, said that 90 per cent of all diabetics were prone to CAD (Coronary Artery disease).
