Dhoots up offer price to Rs 165

MUMBAI: The Dhoots of Videocon International have decided to revise the price of the open offer to Rs 165 from Rs 140 to acquire additional two per cent stake in the company from the shareholders. The Dhoots presently own 42 per cent stake in the company.According to a statement issued on Monday, the promoters said that they have decided to revise the price after Videocon International crossed the offer price of Rs 140 during trading on the stock exchanges. On the BSE, the company's scrip jumped 9.93 per cent on Monday to close at Rs 150.60 from the previous closing of Rs 137.
