EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
NEW DELHI, Jan 17: The Crime Branch of the Delhi Police today arrested six more persons -- two goldsmiths and four scrap dealers -- in connection with the Rashtrapati Bhavan museum theft.

The accused have been booked for receiving and disposing of stolen property. The police have recovered 10 kg of silver and a few of the stolen antiques. The main accused, Vinod, was arrested from Ghaziabad on January 13.

Subsequently, he was remanded to police custody for three days. Vinod reportedly admitted to stealing 131 artefacts from the museum. Further investigations led the police to the two goldsmiths and four scrap dealers, all based in Loni.
