Rao tampered with Rajiv files, claims Outlook

[Details] At least six crucial files relating to the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case have been "lost" or tampered with by Narasimha Rao's Prime Minister's Office (PMO), a weekly magazine has reported. According to its investigations, controversial tantrik Chandraswami, in cahoots with Rao, was involved in a massive cover up of details crucial to the case.

Advani vows to fight caste exploitation by parties

[Details] Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president L K Advani said that his party would fight caste discrimination and political parties exploiting various castes to gain political mileage. Reiterating his party's resolve to eradicate untouchability, he said the Congress and Janata Dal had exploited the caste factor to promote their political interests.
