MYSORE, June 16: The Karnataka Special Task Force camp at Dimbam has dismissed reports in a section of the press that said Veerppan had threatened to blow up buses and kidnap government officials including police personnel deputed to nab him. According to a report in the Deccan Herald, sources in the camp called the reports 'ridiculous' and 'concocted', and called the reports an attempt to divert the attention of the STF from their mission.
