Delhi advocate serves notice on Prabhakar
PRESS TRUST OF INDIA
NEW DELHI, June 11: Delhi Lawyer, Shyam Sunder Sharma, has served a legal notice yesterday on Manoj Prabhakar asking him to disclose within 24 hours the teammate's name whom he had accused of trying to bribe him to the tune of Rs 25 lakhs to sabotage India's prospect against Pakistan in Singer Cup in Colombo in 1994. The notice demanded disclosure of the player's name and said failing which Prabhakar should tender an unconditional apology for making a false statement. ``In case no reply is received within 24 hours of the receipt of this notice, an appropriate civil/criminal case would be filed tomorrow against the cricketer for lowering the image of the country by making such serious allegations,'' the notice said.
