JAMSHEDPUR, JAN 31 :  Jharkhand will seek an all-party consensus before adopting its draft rehabilitation & resettlement (R&R) policy, chief minister Madhu Koda said Wednesday.

The chief minister, who was here to inaugurate one of the stoves of Tata Steel's 2.5 million tonne per annum (mtpa) 'H' blast furnace, said land could not be handed over in time to the steel major and other companies keen to set up projects in Jharkhand as some people were creating confusion in the land owners' mind. "We are still in the process of taking opinions of MPs and MLAs on the subject".

"We will soon call an all-party meeting on the R&R policy, so that the companies get land for their projects," said Koda.
