PM authorises tougher stand against Pak
  Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee has authorised a toughening of posture to his colleagues in the stand-off against Pakistan.
New Delhi hands over list of concerns to Islamabad
  New Delhi has given Pakistan a paper enumerating its “concerns” and outlining the steps to be taken by Islamabad to de-escalate the current tension between the two countries.
   
China threatens to walk out of Pak military port project
  China is understood to have threatened to pull out of a major Pakistani project to develop the Gwadar Port as a full-fledged military base to protest Islamabad’s handing over of two airports to the US for operations in Afghanistan, sources said on Monday.
Shanghai Six calls for dialogue
  Central Asian nations, including China and Russia, have asked New Delhi and Islamabad to exercise restraint in view of the escalating tension and urged both the sides to resume dialogue to settle their disputes.
