Recessionary times are drawing
companies to India for its low-cost advantage. ERP major Baan
Company too is leaning more heavily on its development centre
here to leverage that edge.
Although Prasar Bharati recently
signed agreements with private FM radio players for co-location
of their transmitters on All India Radio towers in all metros
except Mumbai, now it has decided to offer a complete solution
package in Mumbai as well.
The October-December earnings
season for the IT sector will be flagged off this week with
industry bellwether Infosys Technologies scheduled to announce
its third quarter results on Thursday (January 10).
