Birla Sun Life declares 7.82% dividend for Cash Plus Scheme

New Delhi, Jan 2: Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company has declared a 7.82-per cent dividend on its Dividend Reinvestment Option in Birla Cash Plus scheme.

The record date for the weekly dividend of Rs 0.015 perunit was December 28, 2001 and would be tax-free in the hands of investors, a company release said.

Birla Cash Plus, launched in 1997, is a liquid scheme, presenting a parking opportunity for investors seeking to deploy their short term surpluses and other redemtpions in 24 hours, it said.

Among the income schemes, the AMC manages Birla Gilt Plus (a government securities scheme), Birla MIP (a monthly income plan scheme) and Birla Fixed Maturity Plan (a debt fund with multiple plans), apart from Birla Income Plus scheme, it said.

Other funds managed by the Birla Sun AMC include Birla Advantage Fund (a diversified equity product), Birla IT Fund (a technology fund), Birla MNC Fund (a fund investing only in multinational corporations), Birla Equity Plan (an open-ended equity linked savings scheme) and Birla Balance (a balanced fund), the release added.
