BPL Innovision Technologies with a view to aligning its divisions in line with market conditions has re-deployed and laid-off employees from its eTech division. This division which was formed after the company closed down its online initiative —- Oyeindia.com —- by integrating the latters technical team with Innovision Technologies.

Now following the re-alignmnt of the team close to 18 people have been asked to leave. The eTech team was primarily focused on the Web-technology/solutions segment.

‘‘The Web technologies team from Oyeindia Internetworks Pvt Ltd was moved into BPL Innovision Technologies to form the eTech division. This was a 30-member team of which 18 have been laid off. The others are currently working on some ongoing projects,’’ sources said.
