may discuss India’s textile bailout next week |

Brussels is expected to indicate
early next week its response to a New Delhi request for bilateral
talks to discuss a package for bailing out the textile industry
on similar lines recently conceded to Islamabad. |

crosses 1 bn units of trading |

Power Trading Corporation has
crossed 1 billion unit of trading while entering the new year.
As per a PTC release, the corporation, which had set a target
of trading 1,500 million unit for this financial year, had already
traded 946 mu during June-December 01. |
