UTI Bank defers EGM

Mumbai, Jan 1: UTI Bank Ltd’s extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of the shareholders scheduled to be held on January 12 has been deferred.

The new date for the EGM would be indicated in due course, the bank said in a notice to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday.

On December 10, UTI Bank had informed BSE That its board had recommended alteration of the existing articles of association and authorised the management to convene the EGM on January 12 in Ahmedabad to seek approval for the proposed changes.
