Say goodbye to queues

No Q Service helps repair appliances at your convenience

FES Bureau

This one appears to be like a breath of fresh air. In a country of one billion, standing in queues has become a part and parcel of our lives. Many of us, quite often, for the sake of avoiding queues either procrastinate or put off many things, especially when it comes to repairing household electrical appliances. A few buttons of the remote control may have become vestigial, or the electric iron you used so often may be lying in a corner of your cupboard, yet you have neither time to stand in queue to do the needful. Queues, however, could be a thing of the past.

No Q Service, a consumer after-sales service backed by the SAR Group of Companies, has come up with instant repair and annual maintenance contract for all the electronics and household appliances. The service specialises in repair, maintenance and upgrade of multi-product, multi-brand equipment, right from colour TV sets, ACs, PCs, generators and inverters to UPS systems. All you need to do is to call the toll free number 1-600-113377 and register your complaint.

Says director operations No Q Service, Krishna Verma: “This service is basically aimed at lessening the after-sales problems of consumers.” Once you’ve called the service, you can either have the appliances repaired at home or if need be picked up for repair and have them delivered to you at your place. “We have two membership plans: gold and silver,” says Mr Verma. Under the gold plan, five appliances—window air-conditioner, TV, refrigerator, audio system and washing machines—are covered for a membership fee of Rs 999.
A subscriber to this plan will get two free, pre-season and post-season services for his/her AC. For the silver plan subscribers, the number of appliances is four (this excludes the window AC) for an fee of Rs 777. The subscribers of these plans get a 50 per cent discount on the flat charge of Rs 125 (charged in case the goods to be repaired are picked from your place).

Currently operating in Delhi and the National Capital Region, the service has already become the authorised service provider of Maharaja washing appliances and Kenwood hi-fi audio systems, says Mr Sharma. As far as the authenticity of the service is concerned, Mr Verma says that they are “an ISO 9002 certified company with qualified engineers and technicians.”

The service attends calls received by 1 pm on the same day. For working people, the service is open from 9 am to 9 pm.
