BSE reopens limited trading membership to boost derivatives
  In a desperate attempt to impart liquidity to the sagging turnover and invite more participation on the derivatives segment, The BSE governing council of the derivatives segment has decided to reopen admission to Limited Trading Membership in the derivatives’ segment of the exchange.
Stock prices seen consolidating during week
  Stock prices are likely to consolidate during the week, but gains are unlikely to be aggressive as witnessed during the week gone by. Some market experts did not rule out a small correction, following a weak close on the Nasdaq and a much needed cool-off after sustained gains witnessed in the last two months.
   
Stock futures perk up SHCIL business
  Introduction of individual stock futures on November 9 has helped improve the fortunes of the country’s largest Depository Participant, the Stock Holding Corporation of India Ltd.
FIIs, mutual funds net buyers last week
  Foreign Institutional Investors were aggressive buyers in the equity market last week, as against being net sellers last week, while mutual funds also turned net buyers during the week, a sharp reversal from their earlier stand. MFs were net sellers for the last 10 weeks prior to last week.
