gets a role in contest2win.com Internet drama

Contests2win.com (c2w), a leading customised contesting Website
has launched India’s first Internet drama titled ‘c2wSit.com’
sponsored by the New Colgate Fresh Energy Gel which has been
relaunched in trendy transparent tubes — a first in India.
According to Mr Alok Kejriwal, chief executive officer, Contests2win,
c2w Sit.com is the first of its kind, a series of drama on
the Internet, making it different from television soap operas
as the innovation and interactivity that the Internet medium
provides is unprecedented. “Today we are launching the first
serial titled ‘Ghar Ek Mandir- Mera Baap Bhagwan’ at our site.
The 48-episode serial is in fact a modern family drama. A
series of five fresh scenes will be released every Monday,
Wednesday and Friday,” adds Mr Kejriwal.
In a bid to involve the viewers, c2w also plans to launch
interactive contests from October 30 this year, informs Mr
Kejriwal.” The serial will have dramatic climaxes allowing
the contestants to predict the outcome of ‘cliff hanger’ scene
in every episode. Winners will get exciting prizes,” adds
Mr Kejriwal.
According to a spokesperson from Colgate-Palmolive (India),
through this Internet initiative, the company hopes to connect
with its consumers across the nation. “We are happy to be
associated with c2w on this innovative idea which we understand
is the first of its kind in the world. Consumers are certain
to get involved in this virtual sit.com as much as they do
with popular TV serials. Also, this move will connect very
well with Colgate Fresh Energy Gel’s core benefit line of
‘Talk to Me’,” explains the Colgate spokesperson.
