Sinha warns of adverse impact of war on economy

New Delhi, Oct 15: The finance minister Yashwant Sinha has warned of further adverse impact on the Indian economy in the wake of the September 11 attacks on the United States and then the Afghanistan conflict.

He told newspersons here on Monday that he had always maintained that the international situation had been, continues to be and will continue to impact certain sectors, “because uncertainty always affects the economy” and because no one can tell how long the war with continue.
